About the Science

The Institute is working to develop strong core services to support new research and collaborations amongst the members. Each core will be developed to offer specific infrastructure to the Institute in three main areas: (1): Biobehavioral Facilities Core, which will supply investigators resources to conduct human and clinical laboratory experiments; (2): Population Cohort Core, which will provide a database with participants in cohort studies to be accessible for other research inquiries and (3): Dataset Repository Core, which will manage and integrate archival datasets that are publicly available or collected by USC.

Affinity Groups are the science networks organized to build synergy across the university’s experts in chosen topic areas.
